Delete your account

This page is about the Dossier Rouge app (Android: com.dossierrouge.app), published by Dossier Rouge. You can delete your account and all the data linked to it at any time, free of charge.

In the app (immediate)

1. Open the app and go to the Account tab.
2. Tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Without the app (by email)

Send an email to contact@dossierrouge.com with the subject "Account deletion",from your account's email address (so we can check it is you). We delete the account within 30 days at most and confirm by email.

Before you delete: your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an active Premium subscription: it is managed by Google Play. Cancel it first inGoogle Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions so you are no longer charged.

What is deleted

• Your account: name or nickname, email address, password, links with Google, Facebook or TikTok.
• Your listening progress, list, ratings, devices and saved settings.
• The subscription information linked to your account on our side.
• On your phone: downloaded stories are erased when you sign out (and when you uninstall the app).

What is kept

• Purchase data held by Google Play and RevenueCat, which the law requires them to keep (accounting and tax), under their own retention rules.
• Aggregated play statistics (for example a story's total number of plays), which cannot identify you.
• Our technical backups, erased automatically after [30 days] at most.

To delete only some data without deleting your account, write to the same address.
